A year in review 2019

It is the last day of December 2019 and feeling full in a good way! We had our daughters and dogs home from NYC and San Francisco for the week of Christmas.  We cooked, baked, ate and squeezed in exercise whenever we could.  I love to travel and be with extended family, but it is very nice to be in our own home – a constant fire in the hearth.

We celebrated Christmas at the Federated Church in Livingston.  It was a lovely candlelight service Christmas Eve.  A few of us (I recruited my daughter Haley as well) spent an hour setting up luminaires all over the property.  Our church members bring their families that are visiting from out of state.   It has now become a reunion of these adult kids we see once or twice a year.

Over the past year, we had several trips to visit family in CA, and a reunion with my Jersey girls in Cape Cod.  We finished up the week being with good friends at the shore, and will ring in the New Year at our good neighbor’s home.  As I look forward to 2020, we will get some warm sun in Mexico in February.  The rest of the year still to be determined for travel plans.

2019 was a great year for real estate.  I was able to help families move to active adult communities, young families buy their first homes, and several families move to one floor living.  I have also been helping several investors buy properties to renovate and re-sell.  I love to be included in the design phase.  Part of my plan is to use real estate as a creative outlet.  Every one of these moves was a meaningful experience in achieving a lifestyle change.

Wishing you health and happiness!  I look forward to seeing you in 2020!
