In these past few months I’ve been so grateful for the value of my own home. As we continue to shelter in place, it is imperative we make the most of this time and enjoy our homes, family, and health if we are so fortunate.
With the weather turning warmer, I’ve taken advantage of my backyard – even if it’s for a quick five-minute break. The yard is what sold me on our home – we made the renovations to the house over time to make the home we dreamed about.
Perhaps you have placed your desire to move on hold. Safety is the priority. However, you can still plan for your dream home and prepare your current home for moving. As a realtor, I am using photography, floor plans and zoom meetings to give a safe experience for viewing homes. If a visit in person is required (ie inspection), I am using a mask and gloves. I closed two homes in April safely and successfully. I give a lot of credit to these clients that proceeded with caution, but didn't let fear get in the way of their dreams. In Livingston 13 homes went under contract in April, 24 Closed!
I am confident our communities are turning the corner of this health crisis because we have been diligent in practicing safety. If you have questions about the market and how to proceed safely, please reach out to me. I would love to hear how you’re doing and assist you in any way possible. In the meantime, wishing you health for you and your loved ones.
