We’re only halfway through the month, but I can tell you the highlight for my family was our trip to Mexico and California. We’ve been dreaming and planning for this trip for a year. We researched a lot of places and landed on Chileno Bay Resort in Cabo which is an Auberge Resort.
We were looking for somewhere serene yet would have enough activities to keep my husband happy. We were not disappointed!
We enjoyed the heated, salt water infinity pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez. There was relaxing ambient music playing to enhance our relaxation. Close by were open-air restaurants – loved the fish tacos for lunch. Early evening was a magical time sipping drinks by the fire pit.
We woke early to the most gorgeous sunrises and headed to the beach with our coffee. We did our stretching, Tai Chi, and yoga to warm up. We then headed to various fitness activities: the gym for Mark, Pilates for the girls, and Boot Camp on the beach for me. Wow! That was a workout.
Other highlights were the open-air spa for a massage; A sunset sail where we saw whales! Snorkeling and kayaking. The food was amazing - such fresh fish!
Our trip was capped off by our return to California for a our grand-nephew’s first birthday! Can’t believe how much Cole has grown since we last saw him at Thanksgiving! It was a great opportunity to see all our west coast siblings and their families. Always a great time!
I hit the ground running back in NJ as the real estate market is not just heating up, but is on fire! I’m seeing competition with as many as 12 offers on homes and going well over asking price ($50K plus!). You’ll be hearing more about listings I have coming up in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned, stay warm – spring is on the way!
